SIKORA’s SPARK testers reliably detect punctual faults and bare spots in the insulation of wires and cables. The test voltage is adjustable. In this way, the systems guarantee the highest product quality and ensure that only fault-free cables are delivered. The SPARK devices comply with the most important testing standards (IEC, UL) and safety regulations according to IEC60479-1.
SPARK 140 ACThe five SPARK AC models cover a diameter range from 1 to 200 mm. The SPARK AC can be easily installed in new or existing lines. It synchronizes with the mains voltage frequency and operates at 50-60 Hz. Optionally, the SPARK AC can be combined with the REMOTE 6000 display and control device. The REMOTE 6000 includes a display and a keyboard for setting the test voltage, a fault counter, and enables length-oriented recording of the detected breakdowns (option).

The SPARK 30 HF is a high-frequency, high-voltage spark tester designed for the reliable detection of insulation faults, for example in automotive cables and installation cables from 0.5 to 30 mm. The SPARK 20 DC spark tester detects insulation faults in wires with diameters from 1.0 to 20 mm.

For applications where the integrated display and self-test and/or calibration system are not required, the SPARK 30 UL is available as an alternative to the SPARK 30 HF.

The SPARK 30 HF and SPARK 20 DC reliably distinguish between pin holes and bare patches. The devices have an integrated display that shows the selected test voltage and number of high-voltage breakdowns. Next to it is a control panel for setting the test voltage. For production lines without a line computer, both devices are ideal as stand-alone solutions.
