From April 15 to 18, 2025, SIKORA will present highly precise measuring, control and sorting technologies for the hose, tube, pipe and plastics industry in Shenzhen. Visitors can expect, among other things, the new LASER PRO series for diameter measurement as well as an inspiring exchange with experts in a pleasant atmosphere.
LASER PRO series: New standards in diameter measurement
SIKORA’s LASER PRO series sets new standards in diameter measurement of hoses and tubes. The model family includes three devices for product dimensions from 0.1 to 51 mm. By means of diffraction analysis and laser diodes, 10,000 highly precise measuring values (per second) are achieved, which guarantees the highest precision and repeatability. In addition, the short exposure time ensures the highest single value accuracy, even at high line speeds and vibrations of the product.

At Chinaplas, visitors can look forward to seeing the CENTERWAVE 6000, which measures the diameter and wall thickness of pipes and tubes during extrusion.
CENTERWAVE 6000: Efficient inline measurement of tubes and pipes
The CENTERWAVE 6000 measures non-contact tubes and pipes with diameters from 32 mm to 1,600 mm. The system provides all measured values immediately after the first vacuum tank. Thanks to a continuously rotating transceiver and a powerful processor system, diameter and wall thickness are precisely measured over 360 degrees of the product circumference using millimeter wave technology. This facilitates the centering of extrusion tools, minimizes material consumption, reduces costs and increases sustainability.
PURITY CONCEPT V: Optical laboratory analysis of plastic pellets
In the “Plastics” area, visitors can bring small quantities of opaque and amorphous pellets, flakes or test sheets. These will be examined for impurities during the show using the PURITY CONCEPT V inspection and analysis system. The system is suitable for reproducible laboratory applications and detects black and colored impurities down to 50 µm in size, as well as discolorations. “The analysis takes less than a minute, including a test certificate and HSV color chart of the detected color deviations. Thus, the system contributes to an increased product and quality safety,” says Wanbin Chen, President of SIKORA China.
X-RAY 6000 PRO: Optimization in extrusion lines through cost savings

At the SIKORA booth, visitors can find out about the innovative measuring devices for quality control.
With the X-RAY 6000 PRO, SIKORA introduces an innovative system based on X-ray technology that continuously provides measured values for wall thickness, eccentricity as well as the inner and outer diameter of hoses, pipes and tubes on extrusion lines. The measuring results are clearly displayed on the monitor of the ECOCONTROL 6000 processor system. The X-RAY 6000 PRO can be used flexibly after the extruder, between two vacuum tanks/cooling sections or at the end of the line for cold measurement. From day one of operation, the system enables precise reduction of the wall thickness to the minimum permissible value – thus ensuring significant material and cost savings.
SIKORA: Perfection in technology and booth design
SIKORA combines technological innovation with an inviting trade fair presence. “Our goal is not only to offer customers first-class solutions, but also to provide them with an inspiring environment for professional exchange,” explains Wanbin Chen. The booth invites visitors to linger and experience the technologies.
