SIKORA AG, manufacturer and global supplier of innovative measuring, control, inspection and sorting technology, has appointed TECHFINE Brasil as representative since May 2021. The company supports South American customers with information on SIKORA systems to be used for quality control in hose, tube and pipe extrusion lines.
Bruno Sommer is the General Manager at TECHFINE Brasil. He has more than 20 years of experience with high end extrusion machinery in the South American market mainly focused on pipes and profiles. “SIKORA is an innovative company with a strong product portfolio for quality control to optimize the extrusion process. I see high potential for these advanced technologies in the market as there is great awareness of quality while ensuring a high level of economic efficiency. I am looking forward to a successful collaboration”, says Bruno Sommer.

For the tube and pipe market, SIKORA offers amongst others the CENTERWAVE 6000, a system based on innovative millimeter wave technology. It measures continuously and completely over 360 degrees of the product circumference the wall thickness, diameter, eccentricity, ovality, the inner profile and sagging of plastic pipes. The CENTERWAVE 6000 is suitable for pipes with a diameter of up to 3,200 mm.
