SIKORA SOUTHEAST ASIA with its headquarter in Malaysia
Bremen — SIKORA AG, manufacturer and vendor of measuring, control, inspection, sorting and analysis systems, announces the opening of a new office in Malaysia in June 2017. The establishment of SIKORA SOUTHEAST ASIA allows the company for a fast and efficient customer support in Malaysia, Indonesia, Thailand, the Philippines, Singapore, Myanmar, Laos, and Cambodia. With the new branch SIKORA expands its worldwide presence to 14 offices.
Director of SIKORA SOUTHEAST ASIA is Lee Weng Kian. Mr. Lee has long-term experience in sales and support for various areas such as the wire & cable and plastic industries. He holds a diploma in mechanical and manufacturing engineering and will serve customers of all SIKORA business units in the Southeast Asian region. The foundation of an office in Malaysia does not only strengthen SIKORA’s position as a global player. The local presence leads to significant advantages for SIKORA customers. “The number of our customers in the Southeast Asian region is growing and we see an increased demand to accelerate and expand sales and services in the countries,” explains Holger Lieder, Sales Director at SIKORA.
Southeast Asia and in particular Malaysia shows great potential in the wire & cable, optical fiber, hose & tube and plastics markets. “These are the industries that we serve with our advanced technology for quality control and process optimization,” says Holger Lieder. “We see a clear trend that industry players in Southeast Asia focus on innovative technology improving the quality of their products and components,” he states. “With our presence in Malaysia we want to fascinate our local customers by the benefits of our products and the professional support that we provide,” Holger Lieder concludes.
