At wire Russia, from June 8 to 10, 2021, in Moscow, SIKORA will present its innovative measuring, control, inspection, sorting and analysis systems. They contribute to the highest product quality, process optimization and cost saving in the wire and cable, optical fiber and plastics industries.

CENTERVIEW 8025

SIKORA will showcase amongst others the X-RAY 6000 PRO. The X-ray based system is used for continuous quality control during the insulation or jacketing of conductors and cables. It precisely measures the wall thickness, eccentricity, diameter and ovality of the product. Hereby, the thickness of up to three different cable layers is measured.

The CENTERVIEW 8000 will be another highlight at the SIKORA booth. The non-contact gauge head provides continuous online 8-point eccentricity, 4-axes diameter and 8-point ovality measurement with the highest measuring accuracy. “The CENTERVIEW 8000 is a true all-rounder as it measures all types of round, single conductors and cables with a solid or stranded conductor, such as telephone cables, LAN cables, automotive cables or building cables.”, says Sergey Pakhtusov, General Director of SIKORA Russia, and adds, “We look forward to finally meeting our customers in person again at wire Russia and to discussing new technological trends and developments together.”

LASER LUMP 2025 T

SIKORA’s presentation in Moscow is completed by spark testers for the detection of insulation faults and reliable diameter measuring systems of the LASER Series 2000 and 6000. Besides, SIKORA will present the newly developed LASER LUMP 2000 T. The system uniquely combines diameter measurement with a high-speed lump detection. With 3 x 110,000 measurements per second, lumps and neckdowns are detected on the product surface, independently of the diameter measurement, and recorded length relatedly. With the LASER LUMP 2000 T, the user receives a two-in-one system, which reduces investment costs and leaves more space in the production line as only one gauge head has to be installed.
