The Bremen-based SIKORA AG is again among the 450 secret world market leaders of the German-speaking economic area in 2024. This is the result of the University of St. Gallen in cooperation with the magazine WirtschaftsWoche and the Academy of German Business Leaders.

HÖHLE is a manufacturer of first-class microducts that are used for building fiber-optical networks to house optical fiber cables as a protective channel. The cooperation between both companies is based on their mutual commitment to deliver high quality products to fulfil the customer demands.

How to provide pure raw material for perfect films in food packaging

Industrie Polieco-MPB uses SIKORA’s PURITY SCANNER ADVANCED to ensure highest material purity for their adhesives. The Italian-based Industrie Polieco-MPB group is the biggest European compounder of polyethylene and polypropylene. With its pipe division (Polieco), it is further one of Europe’s leading manufacturers of high-density, polyethylene, corrugated pipe systems. Within its compounding division (MPB), the company uses sorting systems for quality control to inspect and sort pellets which will be mainly used for films for food packaging. For this, Industrie Polieco-MPB relies on SIKORA’s inspection and sorting system PURITY SCANNER ADVANCED and thus ensures its customers the highest material quality.

PMH relies on SIKORA for quality control of filaments for 3D printing

PMH GmbH is a German manufacturer of individual extrusion lines with over 30 years of expertise. In addition to standard extrusion lines, the plant in Königswinter, Germany, also manufactures complete filament lines in which filaments for the 3D printer industry are produced. To ensure the highest possible quality in the production of the filaments, PMH equips its lines with measuring and control technology from SIKORA.

Highest quality of submarine cables ensured

The world is facing a number of challenges today, one of which is the energy transition. For this to succeed, submarine cables of the highest quality are needed, among other things, to transport electricity from offshore wind farms over greater distances to the mainland. The Chinese manufacturer Qingdao Hanlan therefore relies on SIKORA’s measuring and control devices of the X-RAY 8000 device series for quality control in its CV lines.
